Sweden Pelagic AB receives herring directly from fishing vessels and processes first-class Swedish herring for the canning industry in Sweden and across Europe. We sort, fillet, season, and marinate the herring before packaging it in barrels.
For our peak season starting at the end of July, we are looking for additional employees.
Job tasks include:
- Quality control and packaging of herring.
- Herring preparation.
- Cleaning barrels.
We are looking for organized, quality-conscious individuals interested in food production. You should be independent, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality results.
This is a temporary position as needed, with full-time work during August and September, decreasing later in the fall. If needed, we can provide accommodation near the workplace for those living further away.
We are part of the Swedish Food Workers’ Union.
