SENSORY

Appearance: Light in color without any discoloration. No black abdominal skin and no skin remnants (filet and pieces). Not torn.
Fragrance: Clean and sour. Significantly acidic.
Texture: Firm and tender.
Taste: Species-specific, aromatic-acidic.
Usage: For further processing into consumer goods.
Fat content: 6-25%.
Shelf life: 2 months after production. Should be stored for at least 35 days.
Packaging: Plastic barrel with press-down lid, stainless steel ring. 4 barrels/pallet.

Depending on preparation, we have the ability to deliver the raw material in various packaging. The marinated, salted, and seasoned herring is typically delivered in barrels, the fresh one in fish boxes. Our frozen products are packed according to customer agreements.
